About
Wellness Care
The Intersection of Lifestyle & Beauty
Dr. Clark fulfilled her lifelong interest in wellness care and preventative medicine by creating a practice grounded in the tenets of traditional medicine and enhanced by those of integrative functional medicine. She is proud to have founded The Center for Aesthetic and Preventative Dermatology to put these principles into action.
Her approach to patient care considers the impact of lifestage and lifestyle on health, vitality, and beauty as well as longevity, inflammation, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and other disease. Approaches to treat skin disorders and optimize skin health and beauty, at any age, may include prescription and/or non-Rx medication, nutritional counseling and supplementation, exercise guidance, or stress reduction methods. Many chronic skin disorders, including acne, atopic dermatitis, eczema, rosacea, and certain rashes, are related to systemic inflammation, diet and gut dysbiosis. Patients have found that addressing these factors can resolve or at least improve what was considered to be a chronic disease.
When appropriate, she will make referrals via her partnerships specialists in functional medicine, allergy and immunology, nutrition, physical therapy, plastic surgery, rehabilitation medicine, and body work or massage.
