Dr. Linda Tao, MD is an interventional cardiologist turned health solution designer focused on personalized whole body system optimization, preventative healthcare, and chronic disease management. She uses science-based, laboratory-guided, personalized nutritional support, lifestyle modification, and research-backed natural healing methods whenever possible. Dr. Ava Shamban–a renowned board-certified dermatologist licensed to practice medicine in California, New York and Hawaii–graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University before receiving her medical degree from Case Western Reserve Medical School. Edan is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), Osteopathic Manual Therapist (OMT), and structural educator/mobility coach.

A graduate of the prestigious Swedish Institute, holding an Associates of Occupational Health Sciences, Edan is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) an Associate Member of the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International (SOBI) – www.Ortho-Bionomy.org and certified in the FMS (Functional Movement Screen).

Edan is no stranger to pain and suffering. His past experiences with debilitating illnesses have given him the experience and capacity to work with others who suffer from pain.

Edan used to be one of those sports massage therapists who would dig his elbows into your back to provide you with some temporary relief until he discovered Ortho-Bionomy and how it’s possible to get better results without the use of aggressive force.

He discovered this unique system of healing when he hurt his foot dancing back in 2007 and he asked one of his teachers in massage school to have a look at it. In just seconds after a few subtle movements of his foot, the pain permanently vanished!

That’s when Edan decided to dedicate his life to learning Ortho-Bionomy and to utilize its principles within his sessions to help others in the same way it helped him.

In his free time, Edan enjoys dancing and other movement arts (such as hand balancing and the Ido Portal Method), in-line skating and longboarding, slacklining, biking, snowboarding, surfing, traveling, and spending time in nature.

Dana Slamp, is a Yoga Teacher and Program Director for Prema Yoga Therapeutics. Dana completed her 300 hour Yoga Therapy training with ISKY, an international IAYT member school. She received an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist Certification from Dr. Mark Halpern of Sivananda Yoga in 2014, completed anatomy training with Leslie Kaminoff, Yoga Nidra training with Dr. Marc Halpern, Prenatal Teacher Training with Gurmukh, and an additional 100-hour Meditation Teacher Training with Yogi Charu.

Dana began teaching yoga in 2005, offering vinyasa classes known for their spirit, strength, and safety at Sonic Yoga, New York Yoga, Some Like it Hot, and David Barton Gym. She was delighted to join the senior staff at Pure when it first opened in New York, expanding her teaching to Restorative, Slow Flow, and Yin/Yang classes, as well as teaching in Pure’s renowned 200-hour Teacher Training and Professional Mentorship Program.

Despite her love of classes, Dana saw the great need for one-on-one, specialized therapeutic teaching in the spirit of Krishnamacharya. In 2010, she served as Managing Teacher for Pure’s second New York studio, Pure West, managing the staff of 60+ amazing teachers and assigning thousands of private specialized yoga lessons for members and guests.

Since then, she has taught internationally, contributed to countless teacher training, and presented in the U.S. at the Telluride Yoga Festival, Wanderlust in the City, and several times at the Yoga Journal Conference. In 2015, she was named Program Director of Yoga Vida’s 300 hr Advanced Training Program, designing the comprehensive program to include some of the leading yoga educators in New York City.

Dana is a therapeutics educator and teacher trainer at Yoga Vida, Drishti Yoga, Sonic Yoga, Ora Wellness, Three Sisters Yoga, Sequencology, and Pure Yoga. She has been honored to consult on wellness programs for clinics, doctor’s offices, condominiums, and corporations. Dana is a member of IAYT and teaches clients on an individual basis in New York City.
